I have the chance to live close to a UNESCO World Heritage Site called Lavaux. It is a geographical area between the cities of Lausanne and Vevey in canton de Vaud. It is famous for its vineyard terraces built by Benedictine monks in the Roman time, tracing back to the 11th century! Not only are these constructions very interesting, but they are located on the shores of the Lac Léman with a stunning view on the Swiss and French Alps!
I have been able to capture this area from the ground, from the lake and lately from the air with the addition of drones in my photography gear. The textures created by the hills, the small roads crossing the vineyard terraces between two villages make it a pleasure for aerial photography.
