The first COVID lockout in the spring of 2020 was quite relaxed in Switzerland. We were allowed to go outdoors and enjoy the sunny hot spring. We were really lucky with the conditions and the weather. So instead of heading downtown to see an empty city, my wife, my son and I enjoyed the backcountry with our bicycles. From where we live, we can get into the woods in 10 minutes and ride easily for hours without seeing anyone.
We also headed to the mountains, which very crowded at that time, as everyone was escaping its house and looking for fresh air and flowery meadows!
