Venice has a special place in my heart! First because it is a gorgeous city where we spent our honeymoon. Then it is in Italy, a country my wife and I love, because Italian people are so nice, and they have one of the best food and wines 🙂
Now the city is so special with its canals and boats instead of large streets and cars! You definitely can only enjoy and explore it walking slowly in the labyrinth of small streets, crossing small bridges and discovering stunning palaces and churches. Architecturally speaking, you can’t find a nicer place as this city.
Every street corner is a jewel, with colorful houses, colorful dishes, romantic squares and water canals with gondolas.
If you’ve never been to Venice, it is a must-visit city you will only be able to love afterwards and wish to return.
